Legendary Marks now serve as the game's primary currency, which you'll need to purchase new Legendary Gear from vendors.
Gone are the old Vanguard Marks and Crucible Marks, which have since been retired and replaced with the new currency. If you picked up Destiny's latest expansion, The Taken King, you might have noticed a new type of currency called Legendary Marks.
